National Day 2026 Dining Deals in Central Singapore: Swensen's, voco Orchard, Pan Pacific and More

Singapore turns 61 this August, and restaurants across Central Singapore are rolling out National Day menus that give local favourites a creative twist. From laksa pizza at Swensen's to SGD 61++ brunches along Orchard Road, here is where to eat your way through the celebrations in the CBD and the Orchard belt.

Swensen's: Laksa Pizza and the SG61 Family Set

Available from 9 July to 9 September 2026 at all Swensen's outlets islandwide, including the central locations at ION Orchard, Plaza Singapura and VivoCity. The SG61 Family Set Meal (SGD 61) is designed for three people and includes one Shiok Fish Burger, two mains (choose from Fish Baked Rice, Chicken Baked Rice, Black Pepper Seafood Pasta or Spaghettoni Carbonara), three MILO Bandung drinks and one Muah Chee Waffle with Ice Cream.

The Laksa Pizza is the biggest conversation starter on the menu, aromatic laksa flavours topped with prawns, fish cake, tau pok, egg and laksa leaves, all tied together with mozzarella. Also worth trying are the Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee and the Chili Crab Soup with Mantou, both priced a la carte. The set is available during regular restaurant hours and does not require advance booking.

voco Orchard Singapore: SG61 Dining Deals

IHG One Rewards members enjoy 20% off the a la carte menu at Opus Bar & Grill and il Cielo at voco Orchard Singapore through July and August 2026. The headline event is the Celebrate Singapore Shiok Local Brunch on 8 and 9 August, priced at SGD 61++ per adult, featuring a spread of local favourites from DIY rojak and prawn laksa to Hainanese chicken rice and chilli crab squid ink pasta. On 9 August only, selected beverages and the Signature Classic Cheesecake drop to SGD 6.10 nett, a nod to Singapore's 61st birthday.

Opus Bar & Grill sits on the lobby level of voco Orchard at 58 Orchard Road, a short walk from Orchard MRT. The brunch runs from 12pm to 3pm on both days, and reservations are recommended because the local brunch is one of the more sought-after National Day hotel dining events in the Orchard area.

Pan Pacific Singapore: National Day Buffet

Pan Pacific Singapore at 7 Raffles Boulevard rolls out its National Day buffet at Edge, the all-day dining restaurant, featuring premium seafood alongside local favourites. The buffet runs on 9 August 2026, with lunch at SGD 88++ per adult and SGD 44++ per child, and dinner at SGD 98++ per adult and SGD 49++ per child. Expect fresh oysters, Alaskan king crab, laksa, char kway teow and Hainanese chicken rice on rotation, plus a local dessert station with kueh and pandan chendol. Pan Pacific is connected to Marina Square and is a 5-minute walk from Promenade MRT.

Swissotel The Stamford: National Day Buffet at Buffet Town

Swissotel The Stamford takes a different approach at Buffet Town with a National Day-themed Thai buffet featuring over 40 dishes, ideal for those who want variety. The National Day Thai buffet runs from 1 to 31 August 2026, with lunch at SGD 78++ per adult and dinner at SGD 98++ per adult. The menu includes tom yum, green curry, pad thai, mango sticky rice and a Thai-style chilli crab. Swissotel The Stamford is at 2 Stamford Road, directly above City Hall MRT, and is one of the easier hotel buffets to reach via public transport.

Where to Eat on 9 August 2026 Itself

If you want to plan a single day, the most efficient National Day route through central Singapore starts with breakfast at a Swensen's outlet for the SG61 Family Set Meal, then a mid-morning walk through the National Museum at Stamford Road, lunch at the voco Orchard brunch at SGD 61++, and a late-afternoon coffee break before dinner at Pan Pacific or Swissotel The Stamford for the National Day buffets. The National Day Parade fireworks are visible from the Marina Square and Esplanade areas, so a Pan Pacific dinner puts you within walking distance of the waterfront fireworks display.

Practical Tips for National Day Dining

  • Book at least a week ahead for the hotel buffets, the National Day slots at Pan Pacific, Swissotel The Stamford and voco Orchard sell out by late July.
  • IHG One Rewards members get 20% off at voco Orchard, so sign up for the free membership before booking if you are not already a member.
  • The Swensen's Laksa Pizza is a la carte and not part of the SG61 Family Set, so add it as a separate order if you want to try it.
  • MRT service runs extended hours on 9 August for the parade, with City Hall, Promenade and Orchard stations staying open later than usual.
  • Bring a jacket to the hotel buffets, the air-conditioning at Edge and Buffet Town runs cold, especially during the lunch service.
  • Parking in the Marina Square and Orchard belt is tight on 9 August, so plan to arrive by MRT if you can.

The National Day dining deals run across a wide window in 2026, from 9 July at Swensen's all the way through 9 September, so you do not have to cram everything into a single weekend. If you want the parade fireworks, plan for 9 August itself. If you want a quieter experience, the early August slots at the hotel buffets are noticeably calmer, and the staff have more time to walk you through the local dishes on the menu.
