Slava's Snowshow Closes Its Marina Bay Sands Run On 26 July

Slava's Snowshow key visual at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands

Slava's Snowshow plays its final Singapore performances at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, from 15 to 26 July 2026. The wordless, snow-driven spectacle by Russian clown Slava Polunin returns for a third run here after outings in 2012 and 2022, with tickets priced from S$58 and the closing night falling on a Sunday.

Created by Polunin, cited by The London Times as "the greatest clown in the world," the production won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment in 1998 and earned a Tony Award nomination for Special Theatrical Event in 2009. The show runs roughly 110 minutes with a 20-minute intermission, and there is no dialogue, which is part of why it travels so well across age groups and languages.

What the snowstorm finale actually involves

The staging is built around a sequence of visual set pieces rather than a plot. Clowns guide the audience through a giant spider web of white threads that stretches into the seats, sudden gusts of wind, and a closing snowstorm that fills the theatre. BASE Entertainment Asia, the promoter, describes it as "a shared world of laughter, wonder, and irresistible silliness," which is a fair summary of what you are paying for. Photography, filming, and live streaming are strictly prohibited during the performance.

Polunin, who is 76, told The Straits Times that the show speaks to "things that are eternal and common to all human beings, things over which neither time, nor fashion, nor digital technology has any power: love, friendship, loneliness." He also notes that audience members walk away with different readings of the same scenes, which is unusual for a family show and worth knowing before you book for young children.

Picking a seat: Snow Zone or regular reserve

The theatre is split into Snow Zone and regular reserve categories. Snow Zone seats put you closer to the snowstorm finale and the web sequence, so they suit families who want the immersive version. Regular reserve is the safer pick if you have very young children or anyone who would rather watch the chaos than be inside it. The official Marina Bay Sands listing breaks the pricing down by zone.

  • Premium Snow Zone: S$148 onwards
  • VIP Snow Zone: S$128 onwards
  • A Reserve Snow Zone: S$98 onwards
  • B Reserve: S$78 onwards
  • Box (4 seats) with popcorn: S$598 onwards

Two promotions are worth flagging if you are booking late in the run. UOB cardholders get 15% off ticket prices at checkout. Separately, Far East Malls members can access 1-for-1 VIP Snow Zone tickets, and spending a minimum of S$50 in a single receipt at Far East Malls enters you into a ticket giveaway. The Sistic listing also flagged a limited S$20.01 to S$40.00 price band valid on Saturday and Sunday 3.30pm performances until 24 July, 11.59pm.

Getting there and timing your visit

Slava's Snowshow wordless visual spectacle at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands

Sands Theatre sits at 10 Bayfront Avenue, inside Marina Bay Sands. The nearest MRT is Bayfront station, served by the Circle and Downtown lines, which is a short sheltered walk to the theatre entrance. Doors open 60 minutes before showtime, and the box office recommends arriving early because the queue for collection and seating can build quickly for weekend performances.

Most weeknight shows start at 8pm, with matinees at 3.30pm on weekends. The closing performance on Sunday 26 July is the one most likely to sell out, so if you are planning around that date, book sooner rather than later. The show is rated G, but the snowstorm sequence is loud and visually intense, so parents of children sensitive to sudden noise or bright lighting should weigh that before booking the Snow Zone.
