Iconic bak kut teh stall at Makansutra Gluttons Bay, serving peppery pork rib soup.
Balestier Bak Kut Teh at Makansutra Gluttons Bay brings the famous Balestier Road-style bak kut teh to the Marina Bay waterfront. The stall serves the Singapore-style peppery pork rib soup, featuring tender pork ribs simmered in a robust, pepper-infused broth that is both warming and invigorating. Unlike the herbal Teochew version, the Singapore style relies heavily on white pepper and garlic for its distinctive kick. Balestier Bak Kut Teh has an established presence with multiple outlets, and its Gluttons Bay location introduces the dish to tourists and locals enjoying the scenic bay area. The dish is typically served with rice, fried dough fritters, and a side of preserved vegetables, creating a complete and satisfying meal. Makansutra Gluttons Bay is an open-air hawker centre by the waterfront, designed to showcase Singapore's best hawker food. Balestier Bak Kut Teh is a fitting representative of this mission, offering a comforting bowl of one of Singapore's most iconic dishes in a picturesque setting.Based on 9 Google reviews

Best place to have Bak Kut Teh with the river view at night. Soup is flavorful and has the nice peppery smell and taste. The pork ribs are nice and tender. Overall nice food and nice boss. Will be back for more.
