Nyonya chendol dessert stall at Whampoa Makan Place
Nyonya Chendol is a dessert stall at Whampoa Makan Place, specialising in the classic Peranakan shaved ice dessert known as chendol. The stall serves bowls of chendol topped with coconut milk, gula melaka (palm sugar syrup), green pandan-flavoured jelly noodles, and sweet red beans over shaved ice. The quality of chendol hinges on the richness of the coconut milk and the depth of the gula melaka, and Nyonya Chendol takes care to use fresh, fragrant ingredients that do justice to the dessert's Peranakan heritage. Located within the Whampoa estate, the stall offers residents a familiar and comforting sweet treat, particularly welcome in Singapore's tropical heat. Chendol remains one of Southeast Asia's most cherished desserts, and stalls like Nyonya Chendol preserve the traditional preparation methods that keep the dish authentic.Operating Hours

The Chandol is very good!!! Thick gula! Our only complain is the lady behind the counter! She is soooo rude! And the chendol portion is so little compared to the guy who was serving us previously. If this lady was your worker, do reconsider.

Impressed with Nyonya Chendol's Red Bean Chendol and D24 Durian Chendol👍👍👏👏😋😋 Every element - snow-white coconut milk over fluffy shaved ice, topped with …

The Nyonya chendol stall at Whampoa Hawker Centre is truly marvelous. The chendol itself is rich and refreshing, with fragrant coconut milk generously poured on top. You can customise your bowl with a variety of toppings such as red beans, sweet corn, or even creamy durian. The price is reasonable, especially considering the generous portion and quality ingredients. Definitely a must-try dessert spot when visiting Whampoa!

Original Chendol at $2.30 is pretty good. I think it will be better if they added slightly more coconut milk, but its still really good.

Choose the original taste for $2. Gula Melaka is fragrant. I saw another review that they have heavy coconut cream on top of the shave ice, but I don't have it. Not so sinful after eating it. I will try other topping next round.
