Michelin-listed chendol stall at Old Airport Road Food Centre serving classic Nyonya dessert with rich gula melaka.
Nyonya Chendol at Old Airport Road Food Centre is a Michelin-listed dessert stall that has become synonymous with one of Southeast Asia's most beloved sweet treats. The stall serves the classic Nyonya chendol — a bowl of shaved ice drenched in coconut milk and dark, smoky gula melaka, studded with green pandan-flavoured chendol jelly and red beans. What sets this stall apart is the quality of its gula melaka, which is rich, aromatic, and possesses the deep caramel notes that only properly sourced palm sugar can deliver. The coconut milk is fresh and not overly thick, allowing the gula melaka to shine as the star of the dish. As a Michelin Plate recipient, the stall has received recognition for its consistently excellent execution of a dessert that is simultaneously simple and demanding in its balance of flavours. For anyone visiting Old Airport Road Food Centre, a bowl of chendol here is an essential punctuation to any savoury meal, offering a cool, sweet respite that encapsulates the best of Nyonya dessert traditions.Operating Hours

Ordered chendol with red bean. Cost $2.50. Honestly all chendol franchise are pretty mediocre or bad. Pros. Chendol are actually not bad. Well definite. Cons Ice sucks not snowy. Damn hard. Definitely not easy to shave them. And is a must to shave because... Gula melaka is too sweet. Must really stir and even then still feel sweet. Damn lah all the gula melaka of all franchise are like this. Too thick and sweet.

Tried the classic chendol and find it really delicious. You can taste that the green chendol jelly was freshly made. The gula melaka was fragrant and sweet. A real cold dessert treat on a hot sunny day.

Best Chendol in Singapore! The ice here is shaved so powdery fine, it melts like Korean bingsu milk snow.

Tried the Nonya chendol at Old Airport Road Food Centre and it was excellent. The gula melaka is thick, rich, and beautifully fragrant, blending perfectly with the smooth coconut milk and soft chendol jelly.
