Heritage satay stall since 1955 at Chinatown Complex, one of Singapore's oldest satay vendors.
Shi Xiang Satay is a heritage satay stall at Chinatown Complex that has been grilling skewers since 1955, making it one of Singapore's oldest satay vendors still in operation. With nearly seven decades of experience, the stall has preserved the traditional methods of marinating and charcoal-grilling satay, using recipes that have remained largely unchanged through the generations. The stall offers chicken, pork, and mutton satay, each imbued with a distinctive blend of spices that reflects the Hainanese and Teochew roots of Singapore satay-making. The peanut sauce is house-made and well-balanced, complementing rather than overwhelming the smoky, tender meats. Operating within Chinatown Complex, one of Singapore's largest hawker centres, Shi Xiang Satay stands as a living link to the early days of Singapore's hawker culture. Its longevity is a testament to the enduring appeal of satay done the old-fashioned way.Based on 137 Google reviews

Ordered 5 pork and 5 chicken for 2. 80cents each. Plus cucumber for 50cents. I wonder how much they give when 50 cents cucumber is kinda little. …

My favourite place for satay. Recommend both the pork and chicken. The stall owner was friendly and even suggested adding pineapple to one of the satay sauces so I could try the difference.
