ION Orchard stall selling crispy youtiao and traditional Chinese fried dough snacks.
Shou Yi Fried Fritters operates from the basement level of ION Orchard, one of Singapore's premier shopping malls on Orchard Road. The stall specialises in traditional Chinese fried dough snacks, including youtiao, or deep-fried dough sticks, which are prized for their crispy exterior and airy, chewy interior. The menu also typically includes other fritters such as butterfly buns, sesame balls, and savoury filled variants. Shou Yi prepares its dough fresh, ensuring that each fritter is hot and crispy when served. The ION Orchard location places it in the heart of Singapore's shopping district, attracting both tourists and locals seeking a quick, traditional snack. While youtiao is commonly found at hawker centres and breakfast stalls, Shou Yi brings this heritage snack to a modern retail environment, making it accessible to a broader audience. The stall demonstrates how traditional Chinese snacks can find a place in contemporary Singapore, bridging heritage and modern convenience.Based on 22 Google reviews
