Fish head bee hoon and tze char stall at Hong Lim with lunch bowls
Tang Kay Kee Fish Head Bee Hoon is a versatile hawker stall at Hong Lim Market and Food Centre, offering both traditional tze char dishes and modern lunch bowls. The stall is best known for its signature fish head bee hoon, a comforting bowl of rice vermicelli in a rich, milky broth with fried fish head pieces that deliver a satisfying crunch beneath the savoury soup. Beyond the namesake dish, the stall operates as a tze char outlet during dinner service, frying up wok dishes such as san lou hor fun and sambal kangkung. The modern lunch bowls represent a more recent addition, catering to the CBD office crowd seeking quick, nourishing midday meals with options like grilled chicken rice bowls and braised pork bowls. The dual concept allows Tang Kay Kee to serve different needs throughout the day, from a quick lunch to a proper tze char dinner. The stall has built a loyal following among Hong Lim regulars who appreciate the range and consistency of its offerings.Operating Hours

Very very delicious bowl of fish head beehoon I had! Somehow the broth itself has WOKHEI! The WOKHEI should be coming from their charred fish head. As I sat there to eat, the aunty was serving the fried rice next table my nose follow the direction of the fragrant emitting from the fried rice! Im gonna head back next week to try other dishes! Their TABAO box itself speaks delicious! Those old school square paper box! Don't understand how they can get one star from some diners, perhaps tatse are very subjective! Their menu I think starts lowest is $6 or $7 but you try it you know the fishes or ingredients they use are all mostly fresh! Spoke to one regular and she told me even the chicken they use for their dishes are also fresh ones! Regular customer was kind enough to recommend me her always go to dishes 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. It's just good! Do try !
