Toa Payoh Lor 7 Popiah is a legendary popiah stall at #01-52 in Kim Keat Palm Market & Food Centre, with roots dating back to the 1930s. The stall has been serving Hokkien-style popiah for nearly a century, making it one of the oldest surviving hawker stalls in Singapore. The popiah features thin, delicate wheat flour wraps filled with a savoury mixture of braised turnip, carrot, bean sprouts, lettuce, and crushed peanuts, all moistened with a sweet hoisin sauce and chilli. The stall is notable for using no pork, lard, MSG, or artificial flavourings, making its popiah suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences. Also on offer are kueh pie tee, the small pastry cups filled with similar ingredients. This multi-generational stall represents the enduring appeal of traditional Nyonya and Hokkien snack-making, preserving recipes that have remained largely unchanged for decades in the heart of Toa Payoh.Based on 1 Google reviews
